In this workshop our focus will be on learning about Adaptogenic Herbs and why they are amazing and how to find the ones to incorporate into your life.
Join us to learn how to extract herbs in glycerin and honey. This is a wonderful way to make plant medicine for children and anyone sensitive to alcohol, as it is an alcohol free method. This is the same method of making tinctures, which we will discuss in class.
A little more on Adaptogens
'The core essence of these widely available herbs is that they are masterful longevity tonics, popularly known for their ability to protect against the negative effects of stress. Adaptogenic herbs—like ginseng, cordyceps, and rhodiola—work to counteract the effects of stresses on the body. Used for millennia in Eastern healing, they have now become popular again. Adaptogenic herbs strengthen resilience, regulate stress, and restore inner harmony while deeply grounding both the body and mind.' Adriana Ayalas
Notes for the day provided, take home your own glycerite and go home ready to start making your own medicine!
