In this advanced workshop series, we will build on the foundational skills of making plant medicine. We will learn different ways to extract the medicinal properties from plants and how to incorporate natural medicine into your daily life.
This is a hands-on course and each week we will cover a different topic. We will be working with local plants to learn about;
- Distilling Plants into Hydrosol
- Making a Flower Essence
- How to Infuse Plants in Oil
- Using Plants to make Lotion and Lip Balm
- Using Glycerine and Honey to Extract Medicinal Properties
- Wildcrafting in our Region
The workshop series will take place in the Apothecary, we will also work outside directly with plants from our region, harvesting and processing them.
This workshop series is open to anyone interested in plants, no previous experience is necessary, it is also a follow up to my first workshop series.
We will start each workshop with a check in, then a lecture followed by making medicine!!
You will go home with a binder full of detailed class notes and a bag full of natural medicine to add to your collection at home.
