Join us to learn how to make a Flower Essence from foraged local medicinal plants in our region.
Nearly 100 years ago, Dr. Edward Bach used 38 wildflowers to make Bach Flower Remedies that have been used to restore emotional balance and promote joy and happiness. Since then others have followed along in his teachings and explored using other flowers for flower essences and to heal on their own, and in combination with other herbs.
Making flower essences is a truly divine way to capture the magical support flowers have to offer us.
We will also make a herbal lotion using hydrosol, another type of flower water which comes from distilling the flowers.
We will discuss: various oils and how they change a skin lotion, how to design a gentle and quickly absorbing face cream and, how to use flower essences to heal the spirit both single use and in addition to tinctures.
Notes for the evening provided, take home the medicine we make in the workshop and go home ready to start making your own medicine!
